The Team
The Mae in our name comes from my middle name which I share with my grandma who gave both my mom and I our love of flowers. I remember going to her house, and as we were leaving she would always let me pick out a rose from the garden. I would spend forever deciding between colors and thinking about which one to cut - I have not changed. I love the beauty of working with flowers and being able to add a feminine love to everything we do. God reveals himself in beauty - especially that of creation.

The garden is my happy place. I love being outside and the joy that it brings as well as the peace that comes from working with plants. I knew when we started this business that I wanted some of the flowers to be grown in our own backyard. Its a special way for us to love the people that work with us by planning for them even before we meet.

Our Story
We never imagined we’d be here. Of course we both have always loved flowers - how could you not? But turning that love into a business? Totally new ballgame.
One day a friend asked us if we could do some simple flowers for her upcoming wedding after seeing regular florist prices. After raiding the garden and supplementing with some store-bought roses we set out to learn how to arrange a bouquet. A few fights later we had some beautiful bouquets and two huge arrangements. The peonies were holding on by a prayer and we were worried the boutonnieres would wilt, but we had a knack for it.
Fast forward to today. After word of our hobby spread, we took on more weddings at the request of friends. We hit our breaking point during COVID 19 and got so bored we started a business. One week we started an instagram and put out an ad for quarantine bouquets delivered to any Denver door. After six orders we were already in over our heads. 30 later we were tired of driving but had a pretty good following and orders for the next week.
We based our business off of the belief that everyone deserves gorgeous flowers. We love the beauty that well arranged flowers bring to events and homes which means we love working in any budget. Mae Flowers Ltd. is not either of our main jobs which is why its so special to us. It allows us to provide flowers out of the love for it and for the people we get to serve.
